Notes for this version: * Catch as many "Minutes to Midnight" as possible
* Avoid any Hip-Hop
* Cut down the waiting time for the album
It's a funny take on the game series, though it could really use a change in sound to fit the new mood of the game series.
At the start of the game, you have four lives to squander. The game is pretty easy, move about the area using the left and right arrows then you just have to wait for the PSP to fall on Mario. If you're in a hunt for a game with great gfx, then don't go for this one because this is a pretty simple game. But the obsessive-compulsive in me just can't let those poor PSPs fall, so I ended up trying to catch all them falling PSPs. In a way, its addicting, the only problem we had with this game is that it seems to not have a pause button, and while I am writing this article, I just lost my second life, grrr!
Notes for this version: Changelog:
* Two new levels
* One block who will kill ya
* One suprise level
* Changed menu background
* Music added
* New in game background added
* Code optimised
* Added a mushroom for extralife

Notes for this version: Mario comes back to save a platform other than his own in v3.5 of Mario Don't Drop The PSP (or else...). v3.5 differs from the last version only in that DreaDNoughT and Kid101skater tossed in a new "Speed Boost" feature, activated by Square, for Mario to run after hard-to-reach PSPs on the other side of the widescreen. Also tossed in for good measure is that Mario is now (kinda) animated.
That Boost bar is highly limited; every level-up, you gain 1/4th of the bar back. Still no enemies coming out from the side, as someone once suggested, but running after a falling PSP is hard work enough at the higher levels. Trust us: after a 9-to-5 of catching falling PSPs, dodging Flying Wiimotes of Doom (TM), and scooping crayons off our backsides, the only thing left on our mids is trying to get home breathing.
Thanks for dropping the tip, joshrulez2!
What has Mario done that no other PSP character, superhero, and mythical figure combined haven't done yet? Save PSPs from falling of course. So what if Superman saves the world on a daily basis? So what if the gods of Olympus can decide to change our fate on a whim? Have they saved any PSPs from falling lately? I thought so.
DreaDNoughT is back, and together with Kevin, They released "Mario Don't Drop the PSP - Halloween Edition" (v3.0).
Notes for this version: The PSP doesn't slow down when u change the direction Mario is facing
